The limited edition quick-strike Nicolas Müller Nike Zoom Kaiju QS just hit the shelves. This is what Nike has to say about them:
“The latest in Nike Snowboarding’s limited edition boots! Over the years we have explored the freakish worlds of Danny Kass and Gigi Rüf, and this year we walk a very different path with none other than Nicolas Müller.”
Need some new kicks to rock to the Knicks game? Apparently some of Nike Snowboarding‘s boots have gained some momentum in the hip hop scene. I’d be interested to know how Bow-wow’s feet feel after walking around NY wearing snowboard boots.

There is a popular misconception that today’s snowboards are so technologically advanced that they don’t require as much waxing and maintenance. This is NOT true. In fact, waxing your base is the easiest, cheapest, and fastest way to increase the performance of your snowboard.
Five Reasons to wax your snowboard:
1.) Noticeable increase in speed.
2.) Noticeable increase in control.
3.) Less resistance (no more pushing at the bottom of the mtn)
4.) Reduces/covers minor abrasions that disturb riding performance.
5.) A freshly waxed board smells wonderful.
Because we feel snowboard maintenance is so important we have dedicated a section to it on our website called Tools/Tuning. There you can find irons, wax, and all-inclusive DIY kits to get your board riding right.
For all product questions concerning snowboard tuning and maintenance email [email protected] or call (866) 268-2669.

The Ride DH2.6 Limited Edition Artist Series snowboard is now available at select Ride retailers (like…BuySnow.com).
The Limited Edition DH2.6 features the visual musings of Mike Aho, an artist, animator, performer, and producer out of Austin, Texas.
Ride describes Aho’s work as “surreal creations of discontent and nostalgic comedy”.
“Mike Aho’s visual art, film work, and music have come together in recent years to create a cohesive body of work that uses low-fidelity sounds and images to create a world of discontent and surreality that is overgrown with people, dying foliage, and nostalgic comedy. As a commercial artist, he is currently the Art Director of Marketing for Volcom Clothing and has worked with Drag City Records, Matador Records, Transworld Skateboard Magazine, and Roger Skateboards. Aho’s music project ((sounder)), featuring Jesse Lee and Tom Hoff from the american analog set, has released 2 LPs and 3 EPs, which received praise from NPR and MTV.com…among many others. He is the co-creator, writer, and director for the cult-status surrealist comedy ‘The Internet Shack’ for Thrasher Magazine. Aho has animated/directed videos for Bonnie Prince Billy, The Entrance Band, Mando Diao, and Royal Trux.
The release of the DH2.6 marks the nearing end of the Limited Edition Artist Series era. The DH2.7, which…will be revealed on November 1st, will be Ride’s final DH limited graphic release.
Here are two 30-second video clips featuring the artwork that appears on the Limited DH2.6:
